The Chinese cellphone maker Coolpad has introduced new version of a feature rich budgeted phone Note 3.

First of all, you will be looking at its big beautiful screen.

Note 3 has a 5.5 inch with IPS LCD half HD display and 267ppi pixel density. It has a Mali-T720MP3 GPU to power up the display. Even though the display has good color production and brightness, but it’s kind of disappointing, because it lacks sharpness. The Note 3 is made of plastic and has simple and elegant design. By the looks, it feels a big phone, but it’s light to carry. When you come across the beauty of the phone, you may see a fingerprint sensor beneath the camera lens.

When you come across the beauty of the phone, you may see a fingerprint sensor beneath the camera lens. Coolpad claim's sensor can read dry and wet fingers with less detection time. And yes, it’s easy and read up to five fingerprints with blink of a second. With right placement of fingerprint sensor, so that unlocking phone will be easier with just a touch. Under the hood, there is a octa-core 1.3 GHz processor, which runs with a 3GB of RAM. It's built with 64Bit processing capabilities, expecting more performance for games and applications. However, the phone lags when we multitask and phone gets heated up quickly when you're playing games.

The phone runs on Android lollipop with coolpad’s new and excellent 6.0 user interface. The 4G capability on both SIM is a good feature for this budget smart phone. Reception is so far so good, and voice clarity is good too. The Note 3 has a 13MP camera at rear and 5MP camera at front. Camera is a pretty good for this price range, especially front camera, which is the best for capturing SELFIE. Don’t expect and compare it with the camera of high end smart phones. This camera includes features like slow motion recording, gesture shot, smile shot etc. If you are thinking about storage space for your images and videos, don’t worry it has an inbuilt storage of 16GB and can be expanded to 64GB with an additional microSD.

Now comes the crucial part of the phone, the battery. It comes with a 3000mAH Lithium-Ion battery; do mind that it is non-removable. With all games, videos, browsing and phone calls, it lasted a day. Overall a smartphone worth 9000 Indian Rupees is worth to try.
