Google initiated their brains to build their own devices in the Google plant. Customers worldwide cherish that Google started to do something their own. Google Pixel C is a competitor to Microsoft Surface PRO and iPad Air. To beat the competitors is like hell of a task and will be much easier with the world-renowned Android OS.
So what’s Google Pixel C?
Pixel C is a 10.2-inch Android Tablet with an Aluminium body, and it can be docked to a Bluetooth keyboard. Pixel C focuses on its display quality and style at which it can be docked with the keyboard. What holding between the tablet and keyboard is a strong magnet! So don’t worry or doubt about falling of tablet from the keyboard.
What’s Inside Google Pixel C?
Inside Pixel C is a powerful Octa-core 1.9GHz Tegra X1 with a 3GB of RAM. Pixel C comes with a version of 32GB and 64GB storage capacity. The battery has a capacity of 34.2Whr which is almost equal to 5000mAH by our calculation. USB C type cable is used for charging and as data cable. Pixel C has a 4.1 Bluetooth and dual band WiFi connectivity. A 8MP camera at the rear and 2MP camera at the front is provided. On the rear, there is a row of Led, which activates by knocking on rear and shows the battery level.
Keyboard
The keyboard comes with an internal battery that charges automatically when you docked with Pixel C, and you don’t want to have an extra charger for the keyboard.
What Pixel C is good at?
Pixel C has a brilliant display of 2560x1800 resolution with 308PPI, makes it as the best competitor for Apple iPad. Because of this huge resolution, you get a sizable area for surfing the Internet, and it’s good for playing high-definition video. Pixel C has Android Marshmallow, and it is faster than other any other devices in the market because of the 1.9GHz processor and 3GB of RAM. For all this, you can expect that your battery will last for more than enough time. We ran a two-hour movie from full charge, and we still have more than 70% battery left. So we reckon Pixel C can run for two days for normal users without charging. Overall build quality and performance is good, and it's true that what you pay is worth for it.
What’s not good?
It’s 7mm thick and if you are carrying keyboard too which makes the device 13mm thick and its heavy too. Keyboard doesn’t have track pad so you need to use touch screen to scroll and it's kind of a pain to use both touch screen and keyboard while browsing. Image captured from the camera is only average quality, but front face camera captures good selfies!
499$ for 32GB Pixel C from Google store is quiet expensive, but its worth if you are expecting a powerful, display rich device. And spending 150$ extra for the keyboard is not advisable.

The Google Pixel C only comes with internal storage, so you better try buy a 64GB one to have more storage space. I do use Instagram app and do play Party in my dorm game, which only uses portrait mode and when I dock the tablet to keyboard, I need to tilt my head to play those apps. Due to limited multi-tasking experience, I suggest Microsoft Surface PRO if you work with more document-related files
