What Philips Izzy has?
Izzy BN5B/37 has two 2.5 inch speakers which play low frequencies to provide better bass. To play the music the Izzy uses Bluetooth for wireless streaming. You don’t need a high end mobile phone or need specific application to sync with Izzy. It uses IEEE 802.11n for connecting other Izzy speakers; Note that you don’t need a router or any applications to connect Izzy speakers. Philips calls it as Izzylink to connect with other speakers.
Design of Izzy is made compact and to deliver a great quality music as well. Sound quality of Izzy is pretty good, and it also produces good bass effect. You may think it has a wonder speaker, because of its performance.
Limitations: Izzy is not portable as it looks, because it doesn’t have a inbuilt battery. So you have to place Izzy near to the power plug. Next is audio quality, yes it is better than other Bluetooth speakers and produces excellent quality music, but you only get a stereo effect with all those Izzy speakers. So don’t expect surround music effect with those flocks of Izzy. Last but not least its price, one unit of Izzy costs you around 120$.
